One of the last things I remember seeing clearly were people lying flat on the road, taking cover behind those who had already been wounded or shot dead … lying in what must have been pools of blood to avoid a hail of flying hot hell.”

I have admired the Parenthetical Girls and the Dead Science for a long time, and am very excited to be working with Zac Pennington and Sam Mickens. We already have a bunch of new things in the works, and working with them has been incredibly fun.
All the cooks stirring the Xiu Xiu pot are making it that much more delicious!!! like sea salt caramel over hazelnuts over chocolate over wafers over ice cream.
As for live shows, Jamie and I will be doing a short European festivals tour together, just the two shwees. But then in September, just the guys will be doing a U.S. tour, which I won’t be able to join because of school. I am bummed out obviously I can’t join them live, but I know those will be amazing shows and am very happy that they will be playing together.
Also, I want to say a big Hello to Polyvinyl, and thanks for all the hard work they have been putting into getting all the new updated stuff sorted out. They are helping us update myspace, facebook, and got us on Twitter, and have put out our recent 7 inch with Deerhoof, which also happens to be the first public song that features all the new Xius!
Also, super amped about UK label, Bella Union, run by our music hero, Simon Raymonde.
Anyways, I’m just giddy like glee about all the changes and excited like a bee for things to come!
Thanks everyone and see you soon!!
